Fear Inducer

Artist Inspiration
Masashi Kishimoto Is my artist inspiration for this piece. Masashi Kishimoto art is from a comic book, Naruto: Volume 26. I used this as my inspiration for this piece because I like the way the scene is perceived as hell but is really only like a dream. What I wanted to used for my piece is how dark the entire scene of it all seems and the ink helped more but Masashi Kishimoto really made it feel like this would always be worse than anything when I read it, and I wanted that darkness in my piece.

Process
I started to look up scarecrow images that would make my piece resemble the idea of "obsession of fear". The first thing that came to mind was the batman villain "Scarecrow" so I used scarecrow and I wanted the classic form of him where he is all bone and ugly looking, and my idea with that was hopefully it would add to the darkness.
